Seven Steps to Discipline

1. A clear warning
2. Establish responsibility:  “Who did it?” > “Who chose?”
3. Avoid embarrassment
4. Communicate grief: “What you did is not who you are.”
5. Institute discipline
6. Sincere repentance
7. Unconditional love
