All Aboard for Our March Field Trip to the Southern California Railway Museum!

Get ready for a hands-on, history-filled adventure! We’ll enjoy a guided docent-led tour and even get to ride one of the museum’s historic trains or trolleys—yes, an actual ride!

Highlights include:

Grizzly Flats – Step back into the 1800s with narrow-gauge steam locomotives, passenger and freight cars, the famous Ward Kimball collection, and incredible railroad artifacts.

Carhouse No. 1 – Explore amazing city streetcars like 19th-century horse cars, Los Angeles Railway “Yellow Cars,” a Japanese streetcar from 1898, and a classic San Francisco cable car.

This is an exciting, immersive field trip that brings history to life and is one your students won’t want to miss!
